MSYSA ODP

The Olympic Development Program (ODP) is a national program to identify and develop youth players to represent their State, Region, and country in soccer competitions. ODP teams are formed with each of the 55 USODP Logo Youth Soccer State Associations and four regions, made up of the best players in the various age groups. At the state association level, pools of players are identified in each eligible age group, brought together as a team to develop their skill through training and competition. From the state pools and subsequent teams, players are identified for regional and national pools and teams.  Training is held usually during the off-seasons, Winter, for continued identification for Region Camp.

There are additional fees, TBD, for Winter Training and Region Camp.

ODP uses the calendar year for participation. For example if your son/ daughter is born in 2001, you will be with the 2001 Player Pool.

The ODP Calendar begins in August with tryouts.  Players are selected then for the State Training Pools for training during the Winter.  After Winter training, players are selected for the June Mini Camp and Region Camp, based upon age-level programming.
