    2012 Michigan US Youth Soccer ODP Tryouts

Girls and Boys August 3rd, 4^th & 5^th

Location for Girls and Boys Tryouts: Independence Park Canton, MI

The Michigan US Youth Soccer ODP, in conjunction with the United States Olympic Development Program, is available to all Michigan Youth. Our goal is to identify and develop soccer players capable of competing at Olympic and International levels. It is designed to support youth needs at the advanced skill level and stresses player identification and development to their highest potential. ODP players have many benefits and opportunities available to them, in addition to exposure of top level coaching and training.

All players must tryout each year, even if they have made the Regional Pool in 2012. The only player’s excused from tryouts are those players attending an ODP regional event on the same days as tryouts. If you make a regional pool or team you must register, pay on time, and also come to the first and last scheduled tryout session in your birth year. In order to attend any Region 2 activities you must be registered with MSYSA/ODP.

All participants must register on-line. You have the option to pay by credit card or check on line, using your routing number. Late fees go into effect on July 15th. On-time tryout fee is $100.00 if registered by 7/15/12, 5:00pm. A $50.00 late fee will be charged to any payment received after July 15th. All tryout registration closes on July 26th. If you miss this deadline, you can’t tryout. REGISTER EARLY! Refunds will be honored for documented medical emergencies only (doctor’s written excuse). No refunds one week prior to event. Please check back periodically for any schedule and location changes.

All participants need to arrive a least 30 minutes prior to their first scheduled start time. Check in at the tent to receive two tryout shirts Parents are responsible for their children between sessions. Bring your own water bottle, shin guards, ball, soccer shoes, and issued tryout t-shirts to each session.

Registration for the 2012 ODP Tryout has closed. No exceptions will be made. Good luck at tryouts!
