The MSYSA Director’s Academy is a NEW statewide program for U11 and U12 (U13Y) teams who aspire to play at the highest level in US Youth Soccer (National League and/or Midwest Regional League). The Director's Academy focuses on player development through coaching education and roster flexibility. By participaring in the program, clubs commit to a higher standard of coaching education by attending coaching education events and submitting at least 12 weeks of training session plans per team.
Only sixteen teams per age/gender group will be accepted into the program. All sixteen teams will play against each other once in the 10 month playing season, and all teams are required to participate in a special end of the season tournament.
