MSYSA Discipline and Appeals Hearing Procedures:
An outline of the D&A process regarding hearings held at the MSYSA level

Disciplinary Forms:

The objective of the Discipline and Appeals process is to obtain the facts regarding a specific incident or event. It should not be treated as a court proceeding. The involvement of attorneys or other legal counsels are discouraged when following the procedures outlined by the D&A process.

MSYSA hearings are held once a month (if applicable) at 30 – 45 minute intervals (if multiple hearings are scheduled). All hearings will be recorded and a copy of the record can be made available upon request ($25 recording fee applies).

All appeals to the MSYSA Discipline and Appeals Committee must include an appeal fee of $250, which will be retained by MSYSA.
