What is MSYSA?
The Michigan State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA) is a nonprofit organization that represents over 88,000 youth soccer players, 10,000 team officials and 4,000 referees throughout the State of Michigan. MSYSA consists of various leagues who register players (boys and girls) from ages of 4 through 19 throughout the state.
It is the mission of MSYSA to foster the physical, mental, and emotional growth and development of Michigan’s youth through the sport of soccer at all levels of age and competition. MSYSA is established as a non-profit and educational organization. Furthermore, MSYSA provides the governing structure to administer youth soccer in Michigan and provides vehicles to communicate information to players, parents, team officials, referees, and other interested parties.
MSYSA is a member of the United States Youth Soccer Association (US Youth Soccer) and the official representative of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) for the State of Michigan. By affiliation with MSYSA, players are also affiliated with US Youth Soccer and have the opportunity to participate in US Youth Soccer programs and events.
