Annual Tryout Issue
The official publication of the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association
Circulation: 88,000 (Includes youth players, coaches and administrators in Michigan).
Advertising Deadlines:
April 15: Advertising copy and payment due date
(Late Fees apply after April 15)
April 30th: Late Ad submission and/or payment will be allowed up to April 30 (add $100 late fee per ad)
Note: Ad copy changes will not be accepted over the phone.
How to Reserve Advertising Space:
Grand River Printing and Imaging has set up an online reservation system for Michigan Soccer advertisers. This system will handle payments as well as uploading your ad copy.

Tryout Issue Discounts:
(MSYSA members purchasing ads directly through Grand River Printing only - does not apply to agencies, or ads promoting non-tryout events such as camps, clinics, tournaments, etc):
1 page ad: No discount
2 page ad: 10% discount
3 or more pages: 15% discount
Discounts valid until April 15th only.
No discount program for non-tryout events (camps, clinics, tournaments, etc.)
All ads must be paid for by April 15th to avoid late fee.
All Late Ads must be paid for by April 30th.
Payments not submitted by April 30th will not be published.

Please Note: All advertising resizes will be charged $50.00
Specs: 85 line screen, 300 dpi files.
Ad Design: Ad design is an available service provided by Grand River Printing at a billing rate of $80.00/hr.

Ad Copy Delivery: All ads should be submitted electronically as a PDF file using the Grand River Printing online system (max file size: 16mgb) If file is larger than 16 mgb, please send the ad copy on a PC Zip disk, CD, Flash Drive or similar. If you would like the disk to be returned to you, please provide a Fed Ex (or similar) prepaid shipping label. Disk will not be returned without prepaid shipping label.

Important Note Regarding Tryout Ad Content
RE: Permissible Age Groups in Tryout Advertisements
MSYSA will not permit any age groups younger than U11 to be mentioned in tryout ads for the Michigan Soccer publication in any manner whatsoever. No dates, phone numbers, emails, coaches, etc. can be listed in reference to U10 and younger age groups. MSYSA will allow tryouts to be promoted for age groups U11 and older. Additionally, advertisements for club tryouts in the Michigan Soccer publication may not include logos or references to competing organizations of the MSYSA such as US Club Soccer, AYSO, SAY, etc. Ads may be edited for content by MSYSA. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact the MSYSA office.
Payments not submitted by April 30th will not be included in the publication
