MSYSA Soccer Spotlight: U9 Southfield Shooters

The Southfield Shooters just finished their first season playing together. Under the guidance of Coach Brian Cullins, they have developed into a very talented group of young players. The team displays incredible initiative, determination, and a love for the game – all of which was on display at the 2007 MSYSA Telcom Credit Union Cup. Through soccer, they have learned the core values of positive self-esteem, respect for others, commitment, and teamwork. They have taken these values and translated them into the classroom (where they excel academically!) and at home with their friends and family. Their team motto is “Teamwork divides the task and multiples the success”. If their play at the Telcom Credit Union Cup is any indication, this team will go far and enjoy much success. Best of luck to all, and keep up the fantastic work!
