MSYSA Soccer Spotlight: U11 Clio Lightning

This team first caught the eye of MSYSA in Kalamazoo during the 2007 MSYSA Friendlies. The girls on this small-town team embody the word “team” and everything that it stands for. They work hard for each other and are unselfish in their play. They never get down on each other (or the referees!), and every one of them are friends on and off the field. This attitude translates into a love for playing soccer that is evident every time they step on the field. Their enthusiasm has led to an undefeated start to the season in the Mid-Michigan Youth Soccer League and a first-ever win over a metro-Detroit team. This team has a lot of potential, and the sky is definitely the limit. Best of luck ladies, and keep working hard!
