ODP (US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program) is a national identification and development program for high level players. The program identifies and develops youth players throughout the country to represent their state association, region and the United States in soccer competition.
The MSYSA Premier Program (MSPSP) focuses on providing the premier player the opportunity to participate at the highest level of competition within the State of Michigan. The optimal way to improve skills is to compete against other highly talented clubs. The Premier program provides this type of experience.
The Midwest Regional League is a US Youth Soccer Region II League whose mission is to provide the highest standard of competitive play for the elite teams in US Youth Soccer Region II. MSYSA sponsors 20-30 teams in the MRL per season.
The MSYSA Risk Management Program is one of the most important membership services we provide. A nominal fee per application greatly enhances the protection we can provide to all our young players. All coaches, assistant coaches, trainers, managers, volunteers and league officials are to apply for Risk Management and keep current as your clearance expires. National background checks are conducted on all applicants.
SHIELD Program
Brought to you by Full 90 and Oakwood Sports Medicine, the Soccer Head Injury Education and Learning Directive is a program focused on providing useful knowledge to parents, players, and coaches on the seriousness of head injuries. The TOPSoccer program is a US Youth Soccer program aimed at helping the development of Michigan’s youth who are physically and/or mentally disabled. MSYSA has TOPSoccer programs located around the State that continue to grow in registration and popularity every year. Learn how rewarding it is to become part of this program by starting one in your community or volunteering for an existing TOPSoccer program.
Soccer Start is a US Youth Soccer program aimed at bringing soccer to urban areas of Michigan where they may not have the opportunity to participate in soccer. Soccer Start leagues can be afforded lower registration fees to accommodate lower income families and apply for grants at the regional and national levels. MSYSA would like to see more Soccer Start programs throughout Michigan to help as many youth soccer players as possible.
