Congratulations to the U11 Freeland Flames team for earning MSYSA Soccer Spotlight Team of the Month honors for September 2010! The majority of the players on the team have been playing since they were 5 and 6 years old. As a U10 team, the girls went 3-0-7 and were a bit disappointed. However, they rallied after the season and have spent countless hours since then dedicating themselves to the sport and to improving their skills. Recently, they went 7-1-2 in the Mid-Michigan Youth Soccer League and they finished 2nd at their first-ever tournament.

Congratulations, ladies! You make MSYSA and the community of Freeland very proud!
