Congratulations to the U10 Laketon Lions for earning the MSYSA Soccer Spotlight Team of the Month award for August 2009! The team plays in the Great Lakes Coed Soccer League, and has recently finished their third straight undefeated season. Although they racked up the wins, the team is about more than just statistics. This group of boys is known for their teamwork, sportsmanship, and love for the game of soccer. They often show up to practice early and stay late just so that they can learn soccer together and have fun together. They are more than just friends and teammates, they are family!
