Congratulations to the U18 Flying Kick team for earning MSYSA Soccer Spotlight Team of the Month Honors for March 2009! This team has been together since they were U10, and they have seen much success. A few of their many accomplishments include USA Cup Champions (2008), Best of the Midwest (2007), National Indoor Champions (2009), Gol TV Street Soccer Champions (2006), and Futsal Cup Champions (2009). The team has traveled to Brazil several times, and consequently have picked up a unique South American style of play. The Brazilian style of play that the team has become known for includes a lot of ball possession, creativity, dribbling, and feints. The boys practice hard and are dedicated to the team because ultimately have fun playing soccer and hanging out with each other. The team is set to enter the 2009 MSYSA Boys State Cup, and we wish them the best of luck!
