What is the ODP101 ID CAMP?
ODP101 Camp Program is an open camp for any player wishing to attend. The camp will be instructed by National Level Coaches using an age-appropriate curriculum. The camp will be used to help identify potential players to be INVITED to join in the ODP101 Training Program. The ODP101 Training Program will help MSYSA gauge the progress of its players, provide tangible feedback as to the future development of MSYSA Players and help establish critical curriculum programs for the development of the MSYSA Player.

What will be the focus of the Training Program?
First, players are identified and invited to participate in the ODP101 Training Program for an additional cost. The Training Program will consist of 6 Training Sessions, 3 in the FALL and 3 in the SPRING.  MSYSA recognizes that the age-appropriate training is vital for 10 and 11 years olds. With this in mind, US Youth Soccer and US Soccer Recommendations for age –appropriate and age-development training will be followed. Some major themes:

Training Focus
Ball comfortableness, 1v1 skill and confidence, Basic agility and balance with the ball, receive balls under pressure, Individual Tactic Goals,

1 v 1 Attacking, 2v1 Attacking, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 Scenarios
