3.22.23 - 08/09 ODP State Team Boys: Sub regional training for this group only is 6:30-8:30pm, Tuesday June 13, 2023 at Lansing Eastern High School (390 N. Pennsylvania Ave, Lansing).

11.14.22 Mark your calendars! The 22/23 ODP Subregional event will be held June 16-18, 2023 at the Creve Coeur Park Soccer Complex in St. Louis. Teams will be named after State Teams have been announced and player recommendations have been submitted to USYS for Midwest Region Camp.
11.10.22 FYI 2023 Midwest Region Camp will be held in Rockford, IL.
Girls dates: July 7-9, 2023
Boys dates: July 14-16, 2023
Top 12 players from each age group/gender will be recommended to USYS to receive invitations to attend. Recommendations will be sent made from State Office to USYS towards the end of April, 2023. USYS will send invitations in June 2023.

8.11.22: MSYSA has received emails asking if players can compete in both MLS and ODP. The answer is YES, you can. Both programs are US Soccer affiliated programs. US Soccer, MSYSA’s national governing body, encourages interplay between its organizations, pursuant to Bylaw 603. In short, coaches/clubs should not be restricting a player’s right to participate with other organizational members of US Soccer, if they so choose. Additionally, Policy 212-1, indicates that players may be registered/participate with other organizational members of US Soccer.
8.10.22: An email was sent today for those who pre-registered for the ODP alternate tryout. For those players attending the alternate tryout, you will receive your ODP tryout shirt when you check-in on the day. If you pre-registered and did not receive the email, contact: stateoffice@michiganyouthsoccer.org.
Registration for the alternate tryout is now closed. If you did not pre-register we can not add you to the list.
8.9.22: Winter pool training dates have been announced. Location information was emailed on 8.9.22. An email with session times will be sent closer to the start of winter pool training. All sessions will be 2-hours long. State Teams will be announced at the end of the final session for each age group/gender on the field.

ODP 22/23 is open to players born in: 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011
Registration fee schedule:
- if registered prior to May 1, 2022 = $125
- if registered between May 1 - May 31, 2022 = $150
- if registered between June 1 - July 18, 2022 = $175
