MSYSA welcomes Paul Bright (UEFA A License & US Soccer A License) to the first DA coaching symposium of the year. Paul has a wealth of experience both coaching in England and the United States. Prior to moving to the US, Paul worked as a youth team academy coach at Manchester United Football Club, a skills team manager for the English Football Association, head of the Youth Academy at FC United of Manchester, and as a youth team coach at Oldham Athletic. Since moving to the United States, Paul has worked as the director of coaching at LA Galaxy and is currently the national Director of Coaching at AYSO United and Technical Director at the Coaching Manual.
The coaching education symposium will be a classroom format. The classroom will focus specifically on the U11 & U12 age group and will include themes such as: understanding the player, 9 v 9 formations and systems of play, styles of play, player roles and functions, and individual development plans and how to incorporate those themes into a tactical periodization plan.
Each coach interested in attending the symposium should register at https://www.gotsport.com/forms/open/?FormID=2802.
