UNIFORMS
- With the exception of the goalkeeper, each player shall wear differently numbered and similarly designed jerseys. Uniform numbers must be permanently affixed to the jersey (i.e., no taped or pinned numbers).
- Goalkeepers must wear colors that differentiate them from the field players.
- Unless otherwise specified, all FIFA, US Youth Soccer, and MSYSA rules regarding uniform acceptability will apply.
- In addition to teams wearing different color jerseys, teams must also wear different color socks.
- In cases of dispute over color of jerseys, socks, or shorts, the home team shall wear light jerseys/socks and the visiting team shall wear dark jerseys/socks. If, at the discretion of the referees, the colors are too similar, it is the home team’s responsibility to change into alternate jerseys, socks, or shorts.
- At no point during the regional or national levels of the USYS National Championships Series or President’s Cup will logos from organizations competing with US Youth Soccer be permitted.
