U18/19 Girls Elite Fall State Cup 2025 Championship

LEGENDS FC 2007/08G BLACK VS MIDWEST UNITED FC SCOR 07/08G

In the U18/19 Girls Elite Final of the MSYSA Fall State Cup, Legends FC 2007/08G Black triumphed in a thrilling and emotional showdown against Midwest United FC SCOR 07/08G, winning 4-3 in penalty kicks after a scoreless draw through regulation and overtime. Played in Legends’ home stadium, the match was one of the most intense finals of the weekend, with both teams leaving everything on the field. With several players from both sides competing in their final State Cup before graduation, the stakes – and emotions – were as high as ever.

From the opening whistle, both teams displayed grit, tactical discipline, and relentless energy. Chances came at both ends, but neither side could break the deadlock as goalkeepers and defenders rose to the occasion time and again. The tension only grew through overtime, with constant direction and emotion coming from both benches as coaches and players fought to find a decisive edge.

When the final whistle blew, the championship was decided from the spot. Legends FC opened the shootout with confidence, converting their first four penalty kicks with clinical precision. Midwest United FC SCOR battled hard, answering with three goals of their own, but a missed attempt off the crossbar sealed the result. Legends FC 2007/08G Black emerged victorious, capturing the State Cup title in a dramatic fashion. Congratulations to Legends FC on their incredible win – and best of luck as they represent Michigan at the 2026 US Youth Soccer National Championships in Tennessee next July!
