MICHIGAN TIGERS FC ELITE 64 08G
Michigan Tigers FC Elite 64 08G had an impressive showing at the 2025 USYS Midwest Regionals in Overland Park, Kansas, competing in the U17 Girls Division. The team qualified for regionals through the National League and had already secured its place at the upcoming National Championships in Orlando, Florida.
In group play, the Tigers were dominant, finishing with a 2-0-1 record. They displayed their attacking strength and defensive discipline, scoring 14 goals while conceding just two. Their strong results advanced them into the knockout rounds based on the structure of their bracket.
In the semifinals, the Tigers faced a familiar Michigan rival in Plymouth Reign 08 NLC – a team they had battled before. In a closely contested match, the Tigers came up just short, falling 2-1 and ending their regional run.
Although their journey at regionals ended in the semifinals, Michigan Tigers FC Elite 64 08G still punched their ticket to Orlando as National League qualifiers. With their talent, determination, and proven success, the Tigers will proudly represent Michigan on the national stage at the 2025 USYS National Championships.
