The Michigan State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA) proudly announces that applications are now open for the 2025-2026 Spring State Cup and Junior State Cup, two of the most prestigious and competitive tournament pathways available to youth teams across Michigan. Clubs statewide are encouraged to register early and secure their place in these events.
Spring State Cup: Michigan’s Championship Pathway
The MSYSA Spring State Cup remains the highest level of competition offered within the association, bringing together top-tier teams from across the state. For the 2025-2026 seasonal year, the Spring State Cup is open to
- U13 Girls
- U13 – U19 Boys
This year’s competition will follow an exciting and highly competitive schedule:
- Preliminary Matches: March 7 – May 3, 2026
- Quarterfinals & Semifinals: May 15 – 17, 2026
- Finals Weekend: May 29 – 31, 2026
The entry fee is $795 per team, with an additional $150 surcharge for non-affiliated teams. All teams must submit their applications no later than 12:00 PM on January 28, 2026.
Teams ready to compete at the highest level are encouraged to apply now and begin their journey toward a State Cup title.
Junior State Cup: Development-Focused Competition for Younger Teams
The Junior State Cup continues to provide an exciting competitive platform for younger MSYSA-affiliated teams, with an emphasis on development, sportsmanship, and statewide play. The event is open to:
- U10 – U12 Boys and Girls Teams
The schedule mirrors that of the older divisions:
- Preliminary Matches: March 7 – May 3, 2026
- Round of 16 & Quarterfinals: May 15 – 17, 2026
- Semifinals & Finals: May 29 – 31, 2026
The participation fee is $595 per team, and the application deadline is also 12:00 PM on January 28, 2026.

The MSYSA State Cup & Junior State Cup are long-standing traditions that bring together Michigan’s top youth teams in a true showcase of competition, development, and community. Both events offer a pathway for players to test their skills at the highest levels while representing their clubs on a statewide stage.
