Midland Fusion 10 Green put together a dominant run at the 2026 US Youth Soccer Great Lakes Presidents Cup in Westfield, Indiana, capturing the U16 Girls Regional Championship and earning a place at the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup National Championships.
Representing Michigan on the regional stage, Midland Fusion was outstanding from the opening match of the tournament. The team began group play with a hard-fought 1-0 victory before delivering a commanding 3-0 performance in its second match. Midland completed a perfect group stage with a 2-0 win in its final game, finishing with a flawless 3-0-0 record.
Throughout group play, Midland Fusion showcased excellence on both sides of the ball. The team scored six goals while not conceding a single goal, demonstrating a potent attack and a disciplined defensive unit that proved difficult for opponents to break down. Their perfect record and shutout performances earned them the top spot in their bracket and a place in the championship match.

With the championship victory, Midland Fusion 10 Green was crowned the 2026 US Youth Soccer Great Lakes Presidents Cup U16 Girls Champion. The regional title earns Midland a berth at the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup National Championships, where they will represent Michigan and the Great Lakes Region against the top teams from across the country.
