ROYAL OAK FC 2013G GREEN
Royal Oak FC 2013G Green proudly represented both Michigan and the Great Lakes Region at the 2026 USYS National Presidents Cup in Wichita, Kansas, competing against some of the top U13 Girls teams from across the country.
After earning the Great Lakes Presidents Cup title to qualify for Nationals, Royal Oak continued to showcase the resilience and determination that defined its season. The team opened the tournament with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against the Kansas representative, battling from start to finish in a tightly contested match.
Royal Oak followed with another strong performance in its second match, earning a 1-1 draw against the Virginia representative. Throughout both contests, the team displayed disciplined defending, composure on the ball, and the ability to compete with some of the nation’s best clubs.
The Michigan representative finished tournament play with a 0-0-3 record, scoring two goals while conceding just two. Although Royal Oak was unable to advance to the knockout rounds, the team’s defensive organization and competitive performances throughout the tournament reflected the quality that carried them to the national stage.
Reaching the USYS National Presidents Cup Championships is an incredible accomplishment, and these ladies have so much to be proud of. This team was also the first team from Royal Oak FC to make it to the Presidents Cup National Championships. From capturing the Great Lakes Presidents Cup title to representing Michigan and the region against elite national competition, the team completed a memorable season that showcased its talent, determination, and championship mentality!
