MICHIGAN RANGERS 09G ELITE
Michigan Rangers 09G Elite proudly represented Michigan at the 2026 USYS National Championships in Tennessee, competing among the nation’s top U17 Girls teams.
Michigan Rangers opened the tournament with an impressive 5-1 victory over the South Dakota representative, setting the tone with a balanced performance on both sides of the ball. In the second match, the team faced a strong Eastern New York opponent and battled throughout the contest before falling 3-1.
Needing a result to secure advancement, the Rangers delivered one of the most dominant performances of the tournament in their final group stage match. The Michigan team defeated the Southern California rep 7-0, showcasing an explosive attack and earning a place in the quarterfinals.
Michigan Rangers finished group play with a 2-1-0 record, scoring an impressive 13 goals while conceding just 4. Their ability to consistently create scoring opportunities while remaining strong defensively secured their spot among the final eight teams competing for a national championship.
Advancing to the quarterfinals of the USYS National Championships is an outstanding accomplishment and reflects the quality and dedication displayed throughout the season.
