COACHING FROM THE TOUCHLINE
- A coach may coach their team from the touchline provided that mechanical devices are not used, tone of voice is informative and not a harangue, and they stay in their technical area (when one exists), in the area near their own team bench, or in the area as directed by the referee.
- “Mechanical Devices” (above) includes but is not limited to cell phones and other devices as determined by the State Cup Chairperson or the State Cup Chairperson Designee.
- Failure to abide by the aforementioned criteria in coaching from the touchline may result in sanctions by the MSYSA State Cup Committee such as dismissal of coaches and other team officials, game suspensions, game forfeitures, and fees.
