Another memorable season of Michigan State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA) State Cup and Junior State Cup competition has officially come to a close, with champions crowned multiple age groups after months of exciting matches and outstanding performances.

Teams from around the state began their journeys through league play, preliminary rounds, and knockout-stage competition, all with the goal of earning a State Cup title and securing their place in MSYSA history. The Spring State Cup featured competition in the U13 Girls and U13-U18/19 Boys age groups, showcasing some of the top youth talent Michigan has to offer.

After a highly competitive tournament, championships were claimed by several clubs that demonstrated exceptional quality and consistency throughout their runs. State Cup champions included Nationals, Royal Oak FC, Michigan Burn, TBAYS, Eastside FC, Holland Rovers, TKO Premier SC, DCFC North, Michigan Rangers FC, Cap City Athletic, and DCFC Downriver, each earning their titles through impressive performances on the field.

The future of Michigan soccer was equally evident during the Junior State Cup, where the state’s youngest players competed for championships in the U10-U12 Boys and Girls divisions. Throughout the tournament, players showcased remarkable skill, determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship while creating lasting memories for their teammates, coaches, and families.

Junior State Cup champions included Pato’s Magic, Michigan Jaguars, Michigan Stars, Portage SC, Nationals, Michigan Hawks, Warriors SC, and TKO Premier SC, all of whom earned their place atop their respective divisions following outstanding tournament campaigns.

MSYSA congratulates all participating teams, finalists, and champions for their efforts throughout the 2026 State Cup and Junior State Cup seasons. The level of talent, passion, and commitment displayed across both competitions serves as a testament to the continued growth and strength of youth soccer in Michigan.

As another chapter of State Cup competition comes to a close, MSYSA celebrates the achievements of every player, coach, referee, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this year’s tournaments a success and looks forward to watching these athletes continue their soccer journeys in the years ahead!
