Twelve Michigan teams proudly represented the state at the 2026 US Youth Soccer Great Lakes Presidents Cup, held June 11-14 in Westfield, Indiana, competing against some of the top teams from across the Midwest.
The teams earned their place at the regional championship through strong performances in the Premier Division of the Michigan State Cup and entered the tournament ready to continue Michigan’s tradition of success on the regional stage. Representing Michigan were Chaos FC, Royal Oak FC, TBAYS North Storm, Nationals Anchor Bay, Holland Rovers, AYSO United, DCFC North, Midland Fusion, Nationals Macomb, Cap City Athletic, DCFC Downriver, and DCFC Genesee.
Throughout group play, Michigan clubs demonstrated exceptional skill, determination, and resilience, producing impressive results against elite competition from neighboring states. Their performances reflected the strength and depth of youth soccer across Michigan, with several teams advancing to the final day of competition.
When group play concluded, seven Michigan teams had earned spots in their respective championship matches. Chaos FC, Royal Oak FC, TBAYS North Storm, Nationals Anchor Bay, DCFC North, Midland Fusion, and DCFC Downriver advanced to the finals after impressive runs through the tournament.
Michigan’s success continued in the championship matches, where four teams captured regional titles. Royal Oak FC, TBAYS North Storm, Midland Fusion, and DCFC Downriver were crowned 2026 Great Lakes Presidents Cup Champions, cementing their place among the nation’s top teams.
By winning their regional championship, these four clubs have earned the opportunity to represent both Michigan and the Great Lakes Region at the 2026 US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup National Championships, scheduled for July 7-11 in Wichita, Kansas. The event will bring together regional champions from across the country to compete for a national title.
