Michigan clubs once again proved they can compete with the nation’s best at the 2026 USYS National Championships, held July 13-23 in Tennessee and Utah. Fourteen teams proudly represented the Great Lakes State after earning their place through the National League and National Championship series, showcasing exceptional talent, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
Nine Michigan teams traveled to Tennessee, including Michigan Jaguars, ACGR, Portage SC, PASS FC, Nationals, Michigan Rangers, and Legends FC. Five additional teams competed in Utah, representing Nationals, Monroe United, Eastside FC, DCFC City, and Michigan Rangers.
Michigan’s success continued deep into the tournament as six teams advanced to the quarterfinals: Michigan Jaguars, ACGR, Portage SC, Nationals, and Michigan Rangers, with Nationals qualifying in multiple age groups. From there, Portage SC and Nationals earned spots in the semifinals, demonstrating their ability to compete among the nation’s elite.
The tournament culminated with Nationals advancing to the National Championship match, where they captured the title to become 2026 USYS National Champions. Their championship run highlight the hard work and dedication of their players, coaches, and club while bringing home another national title for Michigan soccer.
