The ball was then played back to a Nationals teammate, who finished into the open net to make it 2-0.
Nationals Union added a third goal just before halftime. A defender played the ball forward to a teammate facing a one-versus-three situation. The Nationals player used a series of skillful moves to work past the defenders before unleashing a powerful shot into the net, sending Nationals into the break with a commanding 3-0 lead.
The final goal came in the 74th minute as Nationals once again turned defensive possession into an attacking opportunity. Using a numerical advantage to advance down the field, the team played a cross to an unmarked forward, who finished with a header to secure the 4-0 victory.
With the win, Nationals Union G2009/10 GMA are crowned the 2026 U17 Girls Elite State Cup champions, extending their remarkable streak to five consecutive State Cup titles.
