DCFC NORTH 10B ROUGE
DCFC North 10B Rouge represented Michigan with an outstanding performance at the 2026 US Youth Soccer Great Lakes Presidents Cup in Westfield, Indiana, advancing all the way to the championship match and finishing as regional finalists.
DCFC opened the tournament with a strong 2-0 victory, setting the tone for an impressive group stage run. The team followed with another disciplined performance in its second match, earning a hard-fought 1-0 win to remain unbeaten and in control of its bracket.
In the final group stage match, DCFC North battled to a 1-1 draw, securing a 2-0-1 record and finishing atop its bracket. Throughout group play, the team showcased its balance on both sides of the ball, securing four goals while conceding just one. Their defensive organization and ability to earn results in close matches proved to be key factors in advancing to the championship match.
With a place in the final on the line, DCFC consistently rose to the challenge against strong regional competition. The team’s efforts throughout the tournament earned them the opportunity to compete for the Great Lakes Presidents Cup title.
In the championship match, DCFC faced another talented opponent and fought hard from start to finish. Despite a determined performance and several promising moments, the Michigan representative fell by a narrow 1-0 scoreline to finish as regional runners-up.
Although the tournament ended one step short of a championship, DCFC North 10B Rouge has much to be proud of. A first-place finish in group play, a berth in the championship match, and a strong overall performance against top teams from across the region highlighted an excellent tournament run and a memorable season representing Michigan.
