NATIONALS UNION 10G ACADEMY
Nationals Union 10G Academy continued its remarkable run at the 2026 USYS National Championships after finishing group play with a perfect 3-0-0 record to earn a place in the quarterfinals. The team qualified for Nationals by winning the Fall 2025 Michigan State Cup, and its success has continued on the national stage.
Facing the Utah representative in the quarterfinals, Nationals battled through an intense match that remained deadlocked at 2-2 after regulation. With a spot in the nationals semifinals on the line, the match was decided by penalty kicks.
Showing tremendous composure under pressure, Nationals prevailed 4-3 in the penalty shootout to secure a thrilling victory and punch their ticket to the semifinals. The hard-fought win highlighted the team’s resilience, determination, and ability to perform in the biggest moments.
Advancing to the semifinals of the USYS National Championships is an extraordinary accomplishment and a testament to the dedication of the players, coaches, and supporters throughout the season.
