Michigan Jaguars 2014G Pre GA 1 concluded an outstanding run at the 2026 USYS National Championships with a hard-fought quarterfinal appearance after advancing out of group play with a 2-1-0 record.
Facing the South Texas representative in the quarterfinals, the Jaguars battled until the final whistle in an exciting match. Despite a determined performance, Michigan fell just short in a 3-2 defeat, bringing an end to an impressive national tournament run.
Reaching the quarterfinals of the USYS National Championships is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to the team’s dedication, talent, and resilience throughout the season. After earning their place at Nationals by a team dropping out, the Jaguars showcased the quality of Michigan soccer against some of the nation’s top competition.
