NATIONALS UNION 13B BLACK
Nationals Union 13B Black proudly represented Michigan at the 2026 USYS National Championships in Utah after earning its place by capturing the Spring 2026 Michigan State Cup championship in its age group and division.
Nationals opened tournament play with a 3-1 victory over Missouri before delivering another impressive performance with a 6-1 win over Tennessee. The two victories secured the team’s place atop the group heading into the final day of play.
The Michigan rep completed a perfect group stage by defeating Wisconsin 2-0, finishing with three consecutive victories to earn a spot in the quarterfinals.
Nationals Union finished group play with a flawless 3-0-0 record, scoring 11 goals while conceding just 2. Their consistent attacking play and disciplined defense made them one of the top-performing teams in the U13 Boys division and secured their place among the final eight teams competing for a national championship.
Advancing to the quarterfinals of the USYS National Championships is an outstanding accomplishment and another milestone in an exceptional season. From winning the Spring 2026 Michigan State Cup to representing Michigan on the national stage, Nationals Union 13B Black showcased outstanding teamwork, resilience, and quality throughout the tournament while making the club, its supporters, and the state of Michigan proud.
