EASTSIDE FC 2011B BLACK
Eastside FC 2011B Black proudly represented Michigan at the 2026 USYS National Championships in Utah after earning its place by capturing the Spring 2026 Michigan State Cup championship in its age group and division.
Eastside FC opened tournament play with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against the Illinois representative before facing a strong Eastern Pennsylvania side in the second group stage match, where the Michigan rep fell 2-0.
Needing a win in its final match to keep its hopes of advancing alive, Eastside responded with a determined 2-1 victory over South Texas. The result capped off the tournament on a high note, although the team narrowly missed out on a place in the quarterfinals.
Eastside FC finished group play with a 1-1-1 record, scoring three goals while conceding four. The team’s resilience throughout the tournament was highlighted by its ability to bounce back with a victory in the final match while competing against some of the nation’s top U15 Boys teams.
Qualifying for the USYS National Championships by winning the Spring 2026 Michigan State Cup and competing on the national stage is an outstanding accomplishment. Eastside FC 2011B Black represented Michigan with determination, resilience, and pride throughout the tournament, making the club, its supporters, and the state proud.
