MICHIGAN RANGERS 09B ELITE
Michigan Rangers 09B Elite proudly represented Michigan at the 2026 USYS National Championships in Utah after earning their place by capturing the Spring 2026 Michigan State Cup championship in their age group and division.
Michigan Rangers opened tournament play in dominant fashion with a 4-0 victory over the Eastern New York rep. The team followed that performance with a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Utah, setting up a decisive final group stage match with a quarterfinal berth on the line.
The Rangers rose to the occasion in their final match, defeating Missouri 4-2 to secure first place in the group and advance to the quarterfinals. Their balanced attack and disciplined defense were on display throughout group play as they finished among the top teams in the U17 Boys division.
Rangers concluded group play with an impressive 2-0-1 record, scoring eight goals while allowing just two. The team remained unbeaten through the group stage, combining a potent offense with a strong defensive effort to earn a place in the national quarterfinals.
Advancing to the quarterfinals of the USYS National Championships is an outstanding accomplishment and another milestone in an exceptional season.
