LEGENDS 08/07G BLACK ECNL RL
Legends 08/07G Black ECNL RL proudly represented Michigan at the 2026 USYS National Championships in Tennessee, competing against the nation’s top U18/19 Girls teams.
Legends FC opened the tournament with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over the Maryland rep before following it with a convincing 3-0 victory over the Minnesota rep. The pair of victories positioned the Michigan representative well heading into the final day of group play.
With a quarterfinal berth on the line, Legends FC faced the South Dakota representative in its final group stage match. Despite a determined effort, the team fell 5-1, finishing just short of advancing to the knockout rounds.
Legends concluded group play with a 2-1-0 record, scoring seven goals while conceding six. Although the team did not advance to the quarterfinals, the two victories against strong national competition highlighted the quality and resilience of the Michigan representative.
Competing at the USYS National Championships is an outstanding accomplishment, and Legends FC 07/08G Black ECNL RL represented Michigan with determination, teamwork, and pride throughout the tournament. The opportunity to compete on the national stage capped off an impressive season for the players, coaches, and supporters.
