Portage SC 2012G Green continued its impressive run at the 2026 USYS National Championships after advancing out of group play with a 2-1-0 record to earn a place in the quarterfinals.
Facing the Ohio representative with a spot in the national semifinals on the line, Portage SC delivered one of its strongest performances of the tournament. The Michigan side earned a convincing 2-0 victory, showcasing a disciplined defensive effort and timely finishing to secure its place among the nation’s final four teams.
The shutout victory marked another milestone in an outstanding tournament for Portage SC, which has continued to build momentum after qualifying for Nationals through its championship run at the Fall 2026 Michigan State Cup.
