Scoring Method

The standings of teams within a bracket or pool are based on the number of points earned in a preliminary game. Team points shall be awarded as follows:
- Three points for a win (including forfeits, but subject to the rule on forfeitures).
- One point for a tie.
- Zero points for a loss.
