Team Eligibility

The MSYSA JR State Cup is for current MSYSA-affiliated teams and MSYSA league-affiliated members only.
All-star teams are not permitted. An all-star team means the official select team of US Youth Soccer, a Region, a State Association, a district or geographical subdivision of a State Association, or any league.
All teams must be in good standing with MSYSA and their respective MSYSA Affiliated League.
Teams that have participated or will participate in the 2024-2025 MSYSA State Cup are not eligible to participate in the 2025 MSYSA JR State Cup.
All teams must play in a minimum of a four-team MSYSA-affiliated league or MSYSA-approved league during the SPRING 2025 season (January – May 2025). The team must play at least three (3) complete league games with a record of scores and standings during the SPRING 2025 season (January-May 2025). The league must be sanctioned or specifically approved by the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association. The MSYSA Director’s Academy is considered an approved league.
