U15 Girls Elite Fall State Cup 2024 Final

U15 Girls Elite Fall State Cup 2024 Final

NATIONALS UNION 10G BLACK VS PASS FC 2010G NLC

In the championship match held at the Legacy Sports Complex in mid-October, Nationals Union 10G Black and PASS FC 2010G NLC battled relentlessly for the U15 Girls Elite State Cup. From the opening whistle, Nationals Union asserted control with precise passing and composure in the midfield, while PASS FC countered with energetic wing play and creative drive through the flanks. Though early chances were limited, their intensity and tactical discipline foreshadowed a gripping duel.

The breakthrough came midway through the first half when Nationals Union split the defense with a sharp one-touch combination, culminating in a composed low finish into the corner. PASS FC responded quickly, creating space and drawing a penalty shortly after halftime. Their confident spot-kick equalized matters before the hour mark, setting the stage for a tense, even contest. Both goalkeepers stood tall in a critical stretch, with Nationals Union’s keeper making a point-blank save and PASS FC’s shooter denying a curling free kick that tested her reach.

As the clock wound down, Nationals Union crafted the decisive moment. From a pressured corner, they recycled possession and fed a runner who delivered a precise cross, meeting a rover’s late run and clinical finish at the back post. The late strike made it 2-1 and punctuated a tremendous comeback effort in a state-level showdown. PASS FC pressed relentlessly in the final minutes, but Nationals Union’s organized shape, disciplined defending, and strategic awareness held firm. The 2-1 victory crowned Nationals Union 10G Black as the new U15 Girls Elite champions, capping off a showcase of determination, structure, and elite youth talent in Michigan.
