U15 Girls Premier Fall State Cup 2025 Final

AYSO UNITED 11G PREMIER VS DBSS 2011G BLUE

The U15 Girls Premier Final of the MSYSA Fall State Cup delivered an instant classic as AYSO United 11G Premier edged DBSS 2011G Blue in a 1-1 draw that was ultimately decided in penalty kicks. The opening half was a balanced contest with both teams trading chances and maintaining near-equal possession. Neither side could find the breakthrough before halftime, thanks to strong defending and solid goalkeeping on both ends.

The action intensified in the second half. In the 56th minute, AYSO United broke the deadlock after earning a free kick just beyond midfield. The service bounced into the box and found an AYSO forward, whose initial shot was blocked by the DBSS keeper. However, the rebound fell kindly to AYSO players crashing the box, and they scrambled the ball across the line to take a 1-0 lead. DBSS responded in the 72nd minute, capitalizing on a misplayed clearance from the AYSO goalkeeper. A header from midfield found a DBSS forward in stride, who launched a long-range shot that sailed over the keeper and into the net to tie the match at 1-1.

After a tense overtime period with both teams searching for a winner, the match went to penalty kicks. AYSO United held their nerve, converting all five of their spot kicks to secure a 5-4 shootout victory and claim the State Cup title. Both teams displayed tremendous effort, composure, and sportsmanship in a match that could have gone either way. Congratulations to AYSO United 11G Premier on their hard-earned championship – and best of luck as they represent Michigan at the 2026 US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup Regionals in Indiana next June!
