The MSYSA ODP 2026 international trip to France provided players and families with an unforgettable blend of elite soccer development and cultural immersion. As part of the ODP pathway – designed to identify and develop high-potential players and expose them to the next level of the game – this experience allowed Michigan athletes to step onto the global stage. Throughout the trip, players trained with top-level coaches and competed against international opposition, gaining valuable insight into different styles of play while representing their state abroad.

Off the field, participants explored some of the world’s most iconic landmarks of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and historic sites like Versailles. Families and players also experienced professional soccer culture firsthand, attending matches and touring stadiums, further deepening their appreciation for the global game. The trip offered a unique opportunity to build friendships, create lifelong memories, and grow both as players and individuals. Opportunities like the France tour continue to showcase the strength of Michigan soccer while reinforcing ODP’s mission to develop players through meaningful, high-level experiences on and off the field.
